Wow, you are really developing your own style of doing henna MashaAllah! The second one reminds me a lot of the styles the Somali sisters do. I hope that you are successful in your little business venture. You give me some hope to keep trying my own hand at henna. JazahAllahu Khayr.
jamilah im so happy for you!! its hard to find something you love, i mean truly love and actually be able to make money too..inshallah you can make a go of it!!
Mahsa'allah! That's really beautiful. Where is your business located? Maybe you're near me. Also, do you have any suggestions as to where the best henna is sold?
I have been playing around with henna for about 3 years now. I think the hardest part is getting used to drawing with something that is the consistency of toothpaste. I've started to use a cone to apply the henna because the bottles are so hard on your hands (it hurts to squeeze that much)and its tough getting used to the right pressure to achieve a non blob-y line. I was told by a henna forum that I needed to work on that... they said I was 'brave' to show them the pictures.. :( not exactly a confidence booster! haha...
May Allah reward you for this beautiful business. I just really love the idea of you being around all these happy about to be married sisters. I think that the positive energy will really help you also be even more optimistic. What a great idea, I still can't get over that part! Love you for the sake of Allah and congrats!
Congrats on the new business! I wish you all the success :) I had written a comment a few days ago on this, I'm sure. I hate when they don't go through. I probably closed the window after an error or something like that!
Ooops, that was my fault Candice...sometimes I see the comments in email on my cell phone and forget to send them thru! JazakAllah Khair for your kind words.
I love the henna designs you've done here! Masha'Allah, you're so talented. I'm actually looking to get henna done for my engagement in a couple of months insha'Allah. Do you have any other photos of your designs?
check out the side bar on the blog, there is a link to my facebook page for Jamilah Henna Creations... that should show you some of the other things I've done so far.
