What should we do?

I have been keeping up with the news on Gaza. Everyday there is something worse. Over 820 Muslims have been murdered so far in this 'conflict' with over 3000 wounded. It seems crazy to me that anyone could side with Israel on this, but yet the U.S. Congress has decided to pass a resolution in support of Israel. 390 votes to 5. I hope this is a good wake up call for all of those Muslims who thought voting for these morons would change anything. Guess what? it hasn't. And for those of you would like to check if your local congress person was a supporter of Israel check here: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll010.xml

Our President Elect chooses not to say anything about the conflict using the excuse that there can be only 'one president at a time'. That is the most cowardly thing I've ever heard. He has not held himself back from commenting on every other issue going on right now, what makes this different? So much for him being more 'Muslim Friendly'.

So what can we do? We can pray for out brothers and sisters. We can make dua for them every time we prostrate in salat. We can ask Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala to protect them, give them freedom & security and end the genocide of the people of Gaza.

Assalamu Alaikum,

Muslims around the world are fasting in solidarity with the people of Gaza until the offensive ends.
It is expected that the offensive is going to continue for another two or three weeks.
As Muslims, we are responsible and will be accountable for what is happening to Muslims around the globe today.
The least we can do is fast in solidarity.

Please forward to all Muslims you know, even if you do not agree.

Assalamu 'alaykum sis, the israeli army are being so oppressive and behaving like tyrants, it's sickening.
And it's so obvious know that they're targetting civilians also, another UN school has been hit, killing a mother and child, and it's not hard to guess what their excuse is gonna be again.
You do wonder why Obama is not commenting at all, strange.

I'm really upset because the whole situation is just too unfair and biased I also hate the whole world's governments attitude towards it..
I pray for the Palestinians and wish things turn to be good soon...
